Best photos for the crowd AI video template

Choose two clear portraits for the balcony and spotlight roles. Check faces, clothes, file formats and permissions before a paid generation.

What makes a useful crowd video reference?

Use a sharp portrait with a clearly visible face and even light. The balcony-and-spotlight template has to carry each identity through moving shots, so a face that is already difficult to read gives it less useful information. Inspect eyes, nose and mouth in the original file rather than a tiny thumbnail. Prefer a natural expression and unobstructed face. Better references can improve the information available to the model, but they cannot guarantee an exact face match in every frame.

Should each image contain only one person?

Yes. Use one adult per photo and place the two photos in separate upload slots. A group shot makes the intended identity less clear; a collage puts both references into the same image. Leave some room around the head instead of cutting through the hair or chin. Avoid unrelated private information in the background. Confirm you own the photos or have permission to use them. The first upload is always the balcony role and the second is the spotlight role, regardless of the selected example.

Will the result keep my clothes?

The template asks the AI to keep faces, hairstyles and clothing from the reference photos. Choose an image that actually shows the outfit you want to suggest. A tight face crop does not provide the same clothing information as a portrait that includes the upper body. Heavy beauty filters, sunglasses and strong shadows can remove useful details. Example dresses and suits show a mood, not a guaranteed wardrobe replacement. Review the generated clip for unexpected changes before deciding whether another reference is worth a paid attempt.

Which files can I upload?

The upload accepts JPG, PNG and WebP, with a maximum of 10 MB for each photo. If a device stores a photo in another format, export a real conversion using an image editor. Changing a filename from .heic to .jpg does not change its contents. A file rejection happens before you can assess generation quality, so fix the file rather than repeatedly choosing it. Keep the original image separately and avoid repeatedly compressing screenshots, which can make facial detail harder to inspect.

How should I compare two possible references?

Compare the originals at a similar viewing size and look for a readable face, natural light and the intended clothes. Check the upload previews once more before submitting. If a completed result has poor likeness for one person, try changing that person’s photo while keeping the other reference unchanged. This makes it easier to judge what changed. The current generator produces 10/15-second, 480p vertical 9:16 videos for 20 credits each; there is no higher-resolution switch that promises to repair an unclear source photo.

What happens to my draft and result?

The browser can save a local draft to restore selected photos after login or checkout. Drafts expire after 24 hours from their last save and are removed when read after expiry, rather than necessarily at that exact moment. Submitted images are processed by the configured AI provider, so generation is not entirely on your device. Check the privacy policy for data handling. Keep your result link private and download completed files you want to retain. Source links may expire; the site does not promise permanent video hosting.
